History The Arendtsville Fire Company was established in 1911 with a hand drawn chemical wagon. Started with 35 members, and as of 2007 there are currently 190 members. In 2002 the Arendtville fire company took a large step and bought Adams counties first tower, and the aerial device in the northern part of Adams county.
